Mama Cacao, known as Food of the Gods, is a sacred food that dates back 7500 years in Mesoamerica. In the traditions of the ancients, it’s believed that the spirit of Cacao has the power to reveal secrets of the soul through the opening of the heart. In this opening, Mama Cacao invites you to go deep to clear old wounds that have been stored or locked at the cellular level. This clearing allows for deep release and deeper connection to your essence – as an individual and as part of the collective.
Cacao is a plant medicine that is available to all and reconnects us to the Earth, Air, Fire, and Water through her natural processes and effects on our physical and emotional bodies.
In this modern age, there are so many different tools and ways to see, feel, and hear the wisdom of Source/God/dess/Creator. We are invited to give ourselves the time and space to connect and dive deeper in the way that is calling us. The messages are clear when we are open to listening.
Cacao opens the heart to feel deeply in our bodies the wisdom that gets lost in the noise of the modern world.

You are invited to a ceremonial circle to connect and attune to your body and heart with Mama Cacao.
At this point in the wheel of the year, we will step through the portal to be nourished and connected as we honor our ancestors, their wisdom, and their gifts.
The gifts of our ancestors can be accessed through our open hearts, even if we don't know their names or their stories. Come to gather in this potent connection to the wisdom of the land and the ancestors.
As part of this ceremonial gathering, we will:

More About Cacao
Unlike processed cocoa, which has been heat-processed and loses much of it’s full nutritive value – and has been flavored with sugars and other products, Cacao is a superfood rich in antioxidants, magnesium, and iron.
Cacao's primary active component is theobromine, a vasodilator that opens the blood vessels and stimulates the heart, preparing you to receive.
Cacao also contains anandamide (ananda = bliss in Sanskrit), a neurotransmitter that offers support to mental health and brain function, providing a sense of calm.
Phenylethylamine, or PEA, is another component found in Cacao, which is a natural anti-depressant. It is a gentle-relaxing heart and mind opener that doesn’t cause jitters like caffeine.
Unlike other plant medicines, such as psilocybin or ayahuasca, Cacao is not a psychoactive plant medicine. With Cacao, you are fully present to integrate what is coming through in wisdom for you. In this way, it is a gentle ancient ally opening us up to receive the guidance to show up in our full, authentic heart-centered presence – bringing our divinity and our humanity together. We can then start to show up for humanity in a different way.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Cacao is a gentle ally, yet it is not recommended if you are on anti-depressants or MAO inhibitors.
it is suggested that you take only a small amount (or none at all) and is best to consult with your doctor before drinking Cacao.
Even if you don’t imbibe Mama Cacao, you will receive the benefits of being in ceremony with Her/us.
